WHO WE ARE
Verve is a 24-hour access community-based gym located in the heart of the Short North in Columbus, Ohio. We offer a variety of classes in strength, endurance, and hybrid training, as well as personal and group training to suit your every need.
Our doors are open to individuals of any size, shape, and athletic background. Verve promotes health within a community setting by providing a supportive, guiding, and fun atmosphere for everyone to improve their physical fitness.

Since 2014, Lauren has been coaching individuals of all ages and varying athletic abilities. With a diverse background in many areas of fitness including bodybuilding, CrossFit, powerlifting, and Olympic lifting - Lauren loves to incorporate variety into the gym’s programs.
Lauren is also progressing through her Master’s degree at The Ohio State University where she is studying nutrition and dietetics. As a future registered dietitian, Lauren hopes to rid the fitness industry of harmful fad diets and gimmicks, and promote science-backed nutritional approaches that support health and well-being.

Jill began teaching yoga in 2015 after she received her RYT 200 certification from the Satyam Yoga School. She loves sharing this practice with others and creating fun, challenging sequences. Whether you can do every posture or you spend the entire class in child's pose, Jill encourages students to listen to their bodies so they leave feeling better than when they arrived.
Outside of practicing and teaching yoga, Jill is working toward her Master's in Public Health at The Ohio State University and she enjoys hiking and paddle boarding in her free time.
