Owner/Personal Trainer/Class Coach

Since 2014, Lauren has been training clients of all ages and varying athletic abilities. With a diverse background in many areas of fitness including bodybuilding, CrossFit, powerlifting, and Olympic lifting - Lauren loves to incorporate variety into all of her client’s programming. When you work with Lauren, you will be pushed to fitness levels you never thought you were capable of achieving, and you will experience confidence like you never thought you could. Her certifications include ISSA Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Lauren is also currently progressing through her graduate degree studying Medical Dietetics at The Ohio State University.


José Duran

Personal Trainer

José has 8 years of experience in personal training and he enjoys seeing people progress towards their goals. With clientele ranging from Division I collegiate athletes to 70-year-old grandmothers looking to get in shape, he has a gift of making anyone feel comfortable and confident in achieving their goals. Depending on your goals, you can expect a mix of cardio training, Olympic lifting, strength training, bodybuilding, and mobility work. José has competed several times in physique shows, which includes qualifying and competing in the Arnold Classic. His current credentials include a degree in exercise physiology, AFAA Personal Training certification, Precision Nutrition certification, as well as his CrossFit Level 1 certification. He believes in a holistic approach in that your physical, mental, and emotional health all affect each other, and that fitness can be the kick-starter to a healthier life!

Zach Matheny

Personal Trainer

Zach has spent much of his life surrounded by sports and fitness having played collegiate soccer here locally at Capital University. After suffering from a blood clot, Zach took a step back from soccer and re-focused his efforts towards his overall health. During that time, he became a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and chose to pursue fitness full time. Over the past few years, Zach has begun powerlifting and his discipline to training has led him to hold several records in the state of Ohio. Zach is also co-founder of the Ohio Power Building Association (OPBA). These unique experiences have brought Zach a vast amount of knowledge from varying corners of fitness. While your focus may not be on powerlifting or bodybuilding, quality movement carries over to whatever your goal may be.
